Wow. So, it's freakishly hot here again. Like freakishly. I have it clocked as something like 94F and it's 4pm.

If anyone can give me suggestions as to how to stay cool or anything I should watch for in this California heat (dry heat?), then please let me know. I'm hiding in my apartment now, but contemplating going out to get a third fan.

Can anyone suggest the best type of fan too?

Oscillating ones.

I've lived here all my life.
Open your windows in the early morning to get the cool air, then close up and shut the blinds when it gets warm.

Thank you very much! I was curious - does size matter for a fan? Or if I get an oscillating one, it won't matter? I'm in the Valley too. :/

Oh, where in the valley - I mean, if you don't mind my asking.

I have a standard sized oscillator on a stand. Usually does the job alright.

Freakishly hot? It's freakishly cold here! We've had snow a few towns over. It's absolutely freakish for this time of year! I wish it were hot and summer again...
