How sad is this? I'm looking into stuff on "The 4400" and realized the diner they used in both of Jeff's episodes, "Ballad of Kevin and Tess" and "Daddy's Little Girl" just shut down, due to lack of business! :(
Frenchie's was a retro French-Canadian diner (specializing in poutine, Jenny!) on the trendy Commercial Drive in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Here are some caps...thanks for the memories, Frenchie's:

Omg I know!
I live only a few blocks from there and used to go often. I had no idea that Jeffrey Combs was there, though. :o
How awesome is that?
Awww...yeah, he filmed 2 eps there and all of "The 4400" was filmed up in Vancouver. I went to several of the shooting days and met the cast. They're all super nice! :)
Too bad I didn't know you last year!

lol, that is so cool! Frenchies was so yummy, I was so sad when it closed.
By the way, I think it sounded fine the first time. ;D
I only edited it b/c I didn't want to show off too hard. :P
lol, it so didn't come off like that. Don't worry about it. :D
Boo, i heard they closed. I had a corned beef sandwich there once, never go to try the poutine :( | |
